Dr. Nisreen Tashkandi

Nisreen Tashkandi, Ph.D is a Saudi born researcher.  She obtained her Ph.D degree from Kings college, London in 2008. Her thesis was "Molecular analysis of bacterial communities present in pneumonia patients"  

She has has a diverse and rich career.  After graduating from King Abdulaziz University, she worked as a reseacher in King Faisal Medical center.  She then moved to Boston where she was granted a research post at Tufts university.  She then moved to Gillford, UK to work on her degree at the university of Surry, before finally landing at Kings college.

During her college years, Dr. Nisreen worked also for the Saudi Embassy in London. In 2005 she received an award from Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi Ambassador to London at the time. She also spent a year working for EMAAR KAEC jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
